Châteauneuf-du-Pape is a featured design in the Avery Dennison Premium Collection inspiration envelope. Created by La Suite Atelier, Châteauneuf-du-Pape uses the Fasson Rustique Extra White FSC facestock to create a regal and distinguished label.

La Suite Atelier comments on the Châteauneuf-du-Pape design:
“An art paper with a silky texture, the name evokes a ‘rustic’ and glorious past—talking of tasting luxury. An engraving of Michael Halbert was acquired for ‘Maison Ogier’ in Châteauneuf du Pape—and used to create a paper whose colour and texture invite you in.”

Our M_usings
The history of wine-growing around Châteauneuf-du-Pape began in 1308 when Pope Clement V, former Archbishop of Bordeaux, relocated the papacy to the town of Avignon. He was, not coincidentally, a wine aficionado. The visual cues in this sophisticated label convey this heritage.

A woodcut look illustration depicts the distinctive architecture of Maison Ogier. Rising up behind this facade, sparse linework reveals the powder-like texture of Fasson Rustique to form the puff of clouds. The symbol of a bronze and gold foiled key is conspicuous on an otherwise monotone label. The use of an uncial-style typeface reinforces the geographic context of the vineyard.
