Jefferson

Jefferson is a featured design in the Avery Dennison Premium Collection inspiration envelope. Created by La Suite Atelier, Jefferson takes full advantage of the Fasson Paper Watermark facestock to create a presidential look and feel.

Our M_usings

The third president of the United States of America had a penchant for wine. It has been reported that during his two-term presidency he spent 13 percent of his annual salary on alcohol. In his own words, “In nothing have the habits of the palate more decisive influence than in our relish of wines.”

This quote straddles the width of the label in a non-conventional handling of typography. Details have been embellished with a bronze foil that is well-matched to the warm tones of the liquor. Jefferson’s signature scrawled at scale has been blind embossed with a hard press that has produced an elegant translucent quality.
